Chase and Lyft have teamed up to offer some cardholders increased earnings when using their eligible Chase card for purchases with the rideshare company.
The participating cards are Chase-branded. (i.e. no airline or hotel partner credit cards).
If you don’t have one of the below cards, it might be worth your while to get one — especially if you use Lyft with some frequency. (Personally, I’m a fan of the Chase Freedom Flex® because of its quarterly bonuses.) (All information related to Chase Freedom Flex® was collected independently by Eye of the Flyer and was neither reviewed nor provided by the card issuer.)
Per Lyft, “all of the ride cost must be successfully charged to a valid US-issued Chase credit card or added directly or via Apple Pay or Google Pay.”
These elevated earnings are in effect through March 2025. So it isn’t necessarily a “forever” thing. But if all goes well, perhaps they’ll extend the deal indefinitely.

I thought Rakuten was giving $1.00 cash back for Lyft. That’s what i received for my last ride. I guess it varies at different times like other stores/categories.
@MFK: For a while, Rakuten did offer a buck per ride. And it was glorious. Now it’s only .25. But hopefully they’ll raise it sometime!
