(The promotion also applies to the legacy Chase Freedom card, which is no longer available for applications.)
Gas station purchases are just one eligible category in the Chase Freedom Flex℠ card’s 5% back promotion. Other categories this quarter are purchases made at rental car agencies, movie theaters, and select live entertainment venues (which encompasses a lot of places). We’ll provide a list below. (Most of the eligible movie theaters are part of live chains. Independent movie houses don’t appear eligible.)
Registration is required (here’s a link) before September 14. The benefit maxes out at $1,500 in combined purchases. So the most you get back each quarter is $75 (or 7,500 Ultimate Rewards points).
As you can see, I’ll easily reach the $1,500 spending cap at my local gas station.
Curious where Chase Freedom Flex℠’s 5% cashback promotion works? Here’s a list, as per Chase.
“I Don’t Have the Freedom Flex! Can I Somehow Get the Promotion?”
Getting 5% Back FOMO? I don’t blame you! I love my Chase Freedom Flex℠ card. My wife loves hers. My father-in-law loves his.
Remember, registration for this quarter’s promotion is open through September 14. You still have time to apply for the card, get approved, receive the card, register for the promotion, and save yourself some money. (Here are 9 reasons we think it should have a place in your wallet.) You can learn here how to apply for the card.
