Statement credit offers dropped for five different InterContinental Hotel Group brands. And one of them might help you save money if you’re staying at the Chicago Seminars host hotel later this month!
Chase Offer: Earn 10% Back
Targeted Chase cards can earn 10% back on purchases made directly with the below hotel chains:
- Candlewood Suites
- Crowne Plaza
- Holiday Inn
- Holiday Inn Express
- Kimpton Hotels
Each chain has a separate offer that you can manually add. A maximum of $57 can be earned back per offer. These promotions expire on December 4, 2024.
I received the offers on my Chase Sapphire Reserve® but not on my IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card or IHG® Rewards Club Select Credit Card (not available for new applications).
Each offer contains about the same language:
Offer expires 12/4/2024. Offer valid one time only. Complete payment for your stay must be made by 12/4/2024. Offer only valid at (eligible chain) and not valid at (excluded properties) properties. Offer not valid on purchases made using third-party services, delivery services, or a third-party payment account (e.g., buy now pay later). Terms Apply.
Save Money at the Chicago Seminars?
If you’re attending the Chicago Seminars in a couple of weeks and staying at the host hotel (Holiday Inn Elk Grove Village), this could be an opportunity to earn back some money. Make sure to charge everything during your stay to your eligible card. For example, you’d charge your restaurant and bar purchases to your room.
Whether or not it’ll be worth the savings is up to you. You may prefer charging the expenses to another card. But I’m just putting it out there. 🙂
Happy spending and earning!

On my Chase Freedom Unlimited® card, I received a similar-but-lesser offer: 5% back at IHG Hotels & Resorts for minimum spend of $100, with a cash back maximum of $31.00. Like yours, this also expires December 4th. This one appears to work across any of the 19 different IHG brands.
Thank you for the data point!
