Greetings from inside my air-conditioned home office. It’s a stark change from a week ago — when my family waited outside in the hot California summer sun for a passport.
Here’s what else happened during the past few days:
My wife recently signed up for a new travel rewards credit card. She added me as an authorized user, which is good. I brought my car in for service on Thursday and, well, knocked out a chunk of her minimum spending requirement for the welcome bonus.
Congratulations to Delta on again winning a rather dubious prize.
This is an interesting story: a woman alleges she and her daughter were sexually assaulted during a Delta flight — and the airline compensated them with 5,000 SkyMiles. But why was nothing more done if assaults were taking place on board the plane?
A great piece of advice forever changed the way I travel. (At least, when time permits!)
Several Delta credit card offers expired earlier in the week. But here are the current ones, in case you’re interested.
Swagbucks ran a promo for 10% back on Deflta e-gift card purchases. The deal expired — you can still receive 3% back if you’re in the market for saving money on Delta gift cards.
Have a great rest of your Sunday! And, as always, thank you so much for reading the blog, commenting, and sharing!
