What a week! Our family returned from two back-to-back weekends of traveling for family graduations. We went to Boise, Idaho (congrats, Jake and Justice!) and Walnut Creek, California (way to go, Cassidy!). As usual, our Sunday evening Southwest Airlines flight home from Oakland was delayed. No surprises there; it’s never been on time when we’ve flown it.
Our daughter finished her first year of kindergarten. It seems like just last month that she was our infant-in-arms (and I looked a lot less tired than I do these days. My wife has only gotten more beautiful. True story.)
She’s now a sassy six-year-old who barked, “No pictures, Dad!” after I took the below image last weekend by our hotel pool.
Anyway, we had some fun here on the blog, too.
Delta dropped another fantastic SkyMiles flash sale. René also popped into the Plaza Premium Lounge at the Vancouver (BC) airport.
René didn’t exactly have a great Delta First Class experience.
It could get interesting — not necessarily in a good way — for NFL fans who travel to their team’s games later this season.
