Here’s something that may appeal to a bunch of people — not just folks in southern Florida. We found a Delta mileage from Miami (MIA) to Las Vegas (LAS). Maybe you hub-captives in Atlanta can position to/from and make this work!It hauls in 6,676 MQM, $181 MQD, and 905 base SkyMiles. The current cost is only $235.60. That prices out to about 3.6 CPMQM! It is a Main Cabin run — but two of the transcontinental flights are on A330-200s. So, Medallion members have a shot at upgrading to Delta One.

The key to this run is connecting through New York-Kennedy (JFK) both ways. Check it out:

Miami to Las Vegas Delta mileage run (via JFK) during February 2022

You have about three hours in Las Vegas. As of this posting, the Las Vegas Centurion Lounge closes at 7:00 PM, so that’s not an option. But The Club LAS on the D Concourse is open until 9:00 PM — not long before you board your return flight. So that lounge is an option. (The D Concourse is where Delta flights arrive and depart.)

I currently see four available dates:

  • February 8
  • February 9
  • February 15
  • March 1
