I got an email the other day with the reminder of the MQD spend requirement to remain year after year a member of the Skybonus program. Yes, it is $5000 and I cleared that just by a hair for last year I am happy to say. This year, it will be close once again!
Anyway, Delta has loaded what may now be one of the best values for Skybonus points. Keep in mind as I talked about yesterday you can no longer bring your +1 into the Skyclub with an “Individual” membership or a Delta or non-Delta travel credit cards. Executive membership does allow +1’s.
So being able to redeem 100,000 points for the Individual or 160,000 for the Executive seems like a very good value for these points. Also keep in mind you and I can BOTH get 5,000 Skybonus points if I send you a referral link so if you want to join, just comment and I will shoot you off a unique link.- Rene

@Jake from MSP – uh, no it did not:

Thank you for spreading the wealth! Fill out this form to send SkyBonus information to another company.
And for a limited time, earn 5,000 points for each account you refer that flies before June 30, 2014.
You really have 58M Skybonus points?
@Jim – LOL – was waiting for someone to catch my photo shop work 😉
Is SkyClub available at the low award level or do we need to use 3x points?
@Maxwell – This is Skybonus points, not Skymiles, there are no levels. Just the points required.
Please send the link. Thanks!
@JBG – it is one the way. Thanks! – Rene
Sitting here at MSP I was looking at the gold membership, 60,000 SM or $450. I think the SM is a good deal even without the skybonus, which I don’t have.
My current SkyClub membership expires August of this year. Am I still able to bring in guests until that point or am I already limited and put into an “individual” membership? Thanks.
@Steve – if you got it under the old rules you should have the +1 until it ends.
Please send the link. Thanks!!
@Phil – on the way – txs – Rene
I am very interested if you could send me the unique link.
Thank you!
@Justin – on the way thanks! – Rene
