The new “Visits” rule for Delta Air Lines Sky Club airline lounges is now in effect — but how can you track the number of “Visits” you have left to enjoy?
Naturally, it’s not as easy as it should be for some Delta and American Express customers.

Here’s the official definition of a Sky Club “Visit”:
A “Visit” is an entry to one or more Delta Sky Clubs or usage of the Delta Sky Club “Grab and Go” feature, at one or more airports, for a period of up to 24 hours starting upon the first Delta Sky Club entry or Grab and Go usage, during an (eligible card member’s) travel on a same-day Delta-operated flight. A single Visit permits usage of Delta Sky Club(s) in multiple airports during the 24-hour period. For example, if you visit a Delta Sky Club in different airports on a trip, entry into one or more of these Clubs will be considered part of the same Visit as long as these additional entries occur within 24 hours of the first Delta Sky Club entry. If travel exceeds 24 hours from the first Delta Sky Club, then a second Visit will be deducted if entering the Delta Sky Club or using Grab and Go more than 24 hours after the first entry. (Eligible card members) may not access the Club or a Grab and Go location in the three hours from the time of previous Grab and Go usage at the same airport.
If you want unlimited Delta lounge visits, you need to spend $75,000 in eligible purchases on your card with in a calendar year. That’ll give you unlimited visits for the rest of that year and all of the following Medallion year.
Basically, visit as many Sky Clubs as you want within 24 hours of your first visit when a trip starts. Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card and Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card users each get up to 15 Visits each Medallion year (through January 31). Meanwhile, The Platinum Card® from American Express and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express holders each receive up to 10 Visits every Medallion year.
Want more Visits? Drop $75,000 on one of those cards (NOT across cards) for unlimited visits. Or drop $50 for additional Visits.
So, how do you know how many remain in a given Medallion year?
Go to the “SKYMILES” page in your Fly Delta app. Scroll down until you see “Delta Sky Club® Tracker. That shows you how many complimentary Sky Club visits you have left.

As you can see, I have 15 out of 15 Visits left on my Delta Business Reserve Amex.
But here’s something interesting. A friend has the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card and the personal/consumer Delta Reserve Amex. So, he should receive 30 Visits, right? Well, yes — but the Fly Delta app shows only 15 like you see above.
Here’s another wrinkle. I hold both a consumer/personal Amex Platinum and the Business Platinum Amex cards. I should have 20 more Visits. (10 Visits per card.) Those cards are in my Fly Delta Wallet.

So, one would think those Visits would be visible in the Fly Delta app, right? (Especially given that Delta and Amex’s partnership is so tight!)
Well, they apparently aren’t. (At least, for those of us who also have one of the Reserve cards.)
Where do I find my Amex Platinum and Business Platinum Sky Club Visits?
Go into your Amex app. Find your eligible card and make sure you’re on the “Membership” screen. Look for “Benefits,” then tap “View All.”

Scroll until you see “Delta Sky Clyb® Access.” Tap it.

Some Amex cardholders posted on Reddit and Facebook who spent $75,000 on an eligible card last year and are entitled to unlimited Sky Club Visits reported seeing the “15 of 15” visit tracker. They rightly were concerned about missing their unlimited Visits. However, in the Visit’s “Terms” section, we learn “unlimited Delta Sky Club access…will reflect on your account after your first visit to a Club.”
I don’t know why it can’t be unlocked before you visit the club. I don’t know why Amex Platinum Visits aren’t included on the Fly Delta app, especially considering how much money American Express pours into Delta each year.
Final Approach
The Delta Sky Club Visits tracker is live on the Fly Delta app — for Delta Reserve card members. It would be nice if Amex Platinum (business and consumer) card members’ Visits were also trackable on the app.

Oddly, my American Express app is only showing the general Airline Lounge benefit, not the specific Delta Sky Club limited access benefit as you show it. Any idea why? This is for a Amex Business Platnium.
Any idea why? Yes. Delta IT.
I have a corporate platinum Amex and on the Amex app it does not show entries, assuming that means the “corporate” platinum doesn’t count?
According to this page live on Amex’s website, you should have access to Sky Clubs. (It’s a PDF, so you might want to consider downloading it just in case.)
I didn’t see the answer to my question last time. If I’m a “SkyTeam Elite Plus” and have a Premium Select or Delta One ticket Internationally, and choose to use the Delta SkyClub on my way overseas, does that visit count against my Delta Reserve Card limit?
Your Delta One ticket should get you into the Sky Club and not count as a Reserve card Visit.
SkyTeam Elite Plus members through Delta Medallion status no longer have access to Sky Clubs when flying internationally. You would have to use a Visit in that instance, even when you’re in Premium Select. Check out this page for more info.
I have 2 reserve cards and they both show in the app. It’s not immediately apparent, but in the app, on the section that shows the card with 15 of 15 visits, you can swipe left and right to see additional cards.
One way to extend the Skyclub visit limits may be to use the Skyclub guest pass for someone you travel with frequently. My wife and I are both Diamond and Reserve card members. Each has 4 guest passes. We travel together most times. I could use my guest pass for her outbound and she can use her guest pass for me inbound. That should extend our access to 19 daily visits. We also have two trips to Europe planned in Delta one (Global upgrades), which should give club access without using a visit. If needed we may also get the Reserve business card to get to 30 visits. We have annually succeeded in using the Companion Certs for first class fares worth more than the card costs. Only down side may be the companion does not get MQD credit and might miss Diamond.
