Delta Points has been somewhat sidetracked this week with dreams of Hong Kong and Asiana 1st class cabin, but it seems that United has still found time for a price increase.
Since we don’t fly United, other than for 4 miles, why should we care? Recently most of the fare increases are quickly followed by the other majors. If Delta and the others do not match, then the price will drop back.
To be fair, our airline led the last round back in April. So time will tell if this one propagates throughout the industry. Quite a day for United Airlines! – Rene

I knew United would be raising thier prices and after the 4 mile horror for them…I bet tge can not wait to make more money.
I hardly ever fly anything but economy and IF I am going to have to pay more for a ticket…then they better stop packing us in like cattle in economy. They keep working on ways to improve biz class but airlines need to start putting some of that money in better seats for thos that cant always afford $$$$$ for a comfy biz class seat.
