My friend, I’m kind of in shock.
Probably like you, we love traveling. But this is the first weekend in a while my family isn’t in airports, hotels, rental cars, ride shares, or packing to go on a trip.
Part of us is happy to chill out at home. But we also kinda sorta look longingly at planes flying overhead and wonder, Where are those people on that flight going? What are they doing this weekend?
But we also still have some unfinished business from our last trips:

When the recession hits and the airlines are hurting with no vacation travelers, the business travels that are here now may remember who continued to serve us and who abandoned us. (Been in a Crown Room in ATL lately?) AA has lounges for business class in major hubs.
thank you for the Father’s Day wishes. But everyone should just stop using Lyft and Uber altogether. Choose a local car service but choose carefully. Support local, limo and car services. Your experience will always be more reliable with higher quality drivers better service and better vehicles. Lyft and Uber drivers are being so grossly underpaid. They’re unreliable to the rider… and there’s a good chance your driver is stoned. So next time you travel plan ahead, check with the Chamber of Commerce or other organizations that support local businesses and find out which companies provide the best service in town.
