Some of the big news this year was Delta’s announcement they’re rolling over into 2021 all MQM for all SkyMiles members — not just elites (as is the norm).
“Yeah, but when?” you may ask.
Delta announced that MQM will start rolling over on Sunday, January 3.
That doesn’t necessarily mean, though, that everyone’s MQM balances will be up to snuff that day. The airline said the rollover process “will be complete by approximately January 31, 2021.”
Do keep in mind it’s still a good idea to screenshot your SkyMiles balances (redeemable miles and MQM) sometime on or before the afternoon of December 31, just so you have a record of them in case something goes haywire.

What if you have a Delta credit card and the statement closes in January? Delta would need to know your spend through the end of December 2020 in order to correctly post any MQMs earned through credit card spend in 2020. I guess that’s why they say it might be as late as Jan 31st?
I think this is the earliest this question has ever been answered!!
