The E Concourse in Atlanta is a place you should make time to visit. They have the amazing One Flew South restaurant (just left of the photo you see above) and a large food court with a number of quick choices for a meal.

You can get in with a number of AMEX cards or, if you are a Skyteam elite plus status and are on a coach or anyone on a business class international departing (or connecting) ticket, you can also get in free.

The E club was once was “the” International lounge until the new F club was built. It is a bit of a walk from the main central area.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (8)

The club is open from 6AM to 10PM and if you are not going to F this is a very nice second choice due to the size and the amenities in the lounge as you will soon see.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (12)

The club is truly huge and has all the perks of the F club (other than a Sky Deck) and is often much closer to visit.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (11)

If you need to get work done there is a space off the main area for that. If you want seating, there is space near the entrance but I suggest you move past this space.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (13)

Why? Because once again this club is just huge and goes on and on and is worth exploring.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (15)

First the bar and eating area. Delta has basically subdivided the massive room into many small spaces and I think this could be redone better but let’s look around for now.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (37)

Also like the F club this is one of the two clubs in Atlanta that currently has the upgraded “buffet” style food choices.

Are these choices amazing? Compared to what was available before, yes. Compared to other lounges like the Centurion club or the Virgin club in LHR these choices would be comparing fast food to gourmet meals. Again, a huge improvement from the past, but nothing like premium lounges both domestic and internationally.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (14)

Let’s keep touring this extensive lounge as so many folks never go beyond the main area. The view along the outside wall is very nice for those of us who love to gaze at jets.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (19)

Delta does have a bunch of Samsung tablets for use. I really hate this. Delta needs to understand that this is a good idea for “common” areas but I think most folks in a club have their own devices.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (21)

I have been to this club a bunch of time but really did not realize “just” how big this club is.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (18)

There are divider “wall doors” if you will, like at some hotel conference rooms, that can be opened and closed to access more rooms.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (22)
No one was in this back room! PVT space 🙂

I have seen them closed many times and did not know this space was there. The space is a great “over flow” and I think many do not know this space is even part of the club. If you want a quiet nice place go explore the club and these rooms if open.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (25)

There is also a HUGE sleeping quiet room that you can enjoy. Much larger and more isolated that the F club room that is just inside the door. If you want to some quiet sleeping time come to the E club (just be sure to set your phone alarm so you don’t miss your flight)! 🙂

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (26)

As you move past the sleeping room you get to the shower check-in area.

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (27)

This club, just like the F club, has a total of 8 showers. Truly impressive. If you happen to need a shower I would think about coming here 1st as the wait times seem less that the F club according to staff. I have never had to wait “that long” at F but will from now on come here first to check the wait times (then go to F afterwards)!

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (28)

The F club has had water pressure problems off and on in the past so I look forward to testing these next chance I can to compare. I hate poor water pressure (don’t you)!

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (29)

This club really is a pleasant experience. The front line reps are good (yes some clubs reps are not as pleasant). The wifi speed was OK I just forgot to do a screen shot of the speed test (sorry).

Delta Sky Club E Concorse Atlanta ATL review RenesPoints blog (41)

Considering all that the E concourse has to offer you really can spend just about all day long in this club and the surrounding concourse area. If this is closer than the F club for you, and you have limited time, by all means spend your time here! – René

@rene – Concourse E is like a wide boulevard compared to A or B. I think of it like the Grand Dame of ATL concourses – almost like the underground malls in Vegas. And, in a nod to the Minnesota northland, there’s a Caribou Coffee down at one end! But don’t underestimate the walking distances.

it is a nice club but again the regular wine selections esp for white are not nice … even the upgraded white(Matua sav blanc -$11.00 retail) is not a good value at $7.70 a glass!!!!!
