Well, well, well. Here we are. It’s flippin’ June, my friend! JUNE! That means a lot of things: summer, pool season, halfway through 2026, and my Minnesota Twins are already looking toward 2027.
In Reward Credit Card Land, we’re at three important junctures:
- End of the month
- End of the quarter
- End of the January – June semi-annual period
That’s a whole lot of statement credits ready to expire! So, let’s take a look at some of the biggies out there — especially after the big card refreshes during the year.
Use ’em or Lose ’em
Remember: all of these credits are available on an if-used basis and don’t roll over to the next month. So, before you forget to use yours, take a quick look and see if you can squeeze out some value during the next couple of days.
This isn’t an exhaustive list — but it’s still pretty detailed. Let’s take a look at what’s out there!

5X on Amazon Purchases, Whole Foods, and Feeding America
I suggest people hold the Chase Freedom Flex® for a couple of reasons (actually many more than that): first, there’s no annual fee. Secondly, there are quarterly 5% bonus categories. (Awarded as 5X Chase points that can be redeemed as cashback, statement credit, applied towards travel purchases made through Chase, gift cards, etc.) Card members earn 5%/5X on up to $1500 in eligible purchases each quarter. (Manual activation is required no later than June 14.)
This quarter, the bonus cashback categories are:
- purchases made with Amazon.com
- purchases made with Whole Paycheck Foods
- donations to Feeding America
Audible book purchases work! (Check out the new true crime audiobook I narrated: Blood on the Trolley: The Murder of Kareem Johnson by David M. Splain!)
I’m using it for gift cards for family, friends, and clients later this year.
The promotion also applies to the legacy Chase Freedom, which is no longer available for applications.

I hope that I’m not the only one with a spreadsheet dedicated to all of these “coupon book” credits. It gets even more complicated when layering in the quarterly, bi-annual, and annual credits.
@Michael – It is becoming a bit crazy. Hilton GCs out of stock is not helping either…
