A new report suggests Delta Air Lines may finally bring its ultra-premium Delta One Lounge concept to Minneapolis–St. Paul (MSP) — something we wrote about back in 2024.
According to The Minnesota Star Tribune‘s Bill Lukitsch, Delta is eyeing “a 20,000-square-foot space above Concourse G” at the Twin Cities’ major airport. That’s the same (perpetually under construction) concourse where the gorgeous G18 Delta Sky Club is located.
“Next week, airport officials will consider a measure to spend $1 million in public dollars on a project feasibility study as part of the airport’s larger capital improvement plan,” Mr. Lukitsch writes. (A luxury lounge tied somehow to public dollars. Here we go…)
Where would the MSP Delta One Lounge be located? If I had to guess, it’d likely be close to the F/G Sky Club, because most of Delta’s international departures are a bit closer to that end of the terminal than, say, the G18 lounge. Again, I’m just thinking out loud here.
RELATED: Best credit cards for Delta Sky Club accessWe’re still probably at least two (or three) years away from a Delta One Lounge at MSP. It’s not like Delta has much competition in Minneapolis — especially for international lines — compared to New York-Kennedy (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX), which are home to the first two Delta One Lounges.
Fingers crossed that it works out!
