If your house is like mine, it seems like there’s an Amazon truck showing up practically every hour. So, a couple of limited-time Amazon spending promotions are fantastic news because we’ll earn enough credit card points to send us to the moon. Well, not quite, but you get the gist. 🙂
Two offers are available: one on American Express and another from Chase.
Amex Amazon Offer: Earn Up to 3,600 Points!
This Amazon Amex Offer seems highly targeted. The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express was my only Amex card to receive the promotion. None of my wife’s cards were targeted.
Cardholders who enroll in the offer can earn 1,200 bonus Membership Rewards® after using their card to spend at least $150 across one or more eligible purchases at Amazon.com. The offer can be used up to three times. In other words, you can spend $450 and earn 3,600 bonus points. That’s in addition to whatever your card earns for Amazon purchases.
The offer expires on June 25, 2025.
Amazon Amex Offer Exclusions
The following purchases do not qualify for the Amex Amazon promotion:
- Prime memberships and auto-renew subscription services
- Purchases shipped outside of the US
- Purchases made using third parties, such as:
- resellers
- delivery services
- other intermediaries
Up to 7,500 Points: Chase Freedom Flex® and Chase Freedom
The no-annual-fee Chase Freedom Flex® (and legacy Chase Freedom) feature quarterly 5X Chase points bonus categories. From April through June, purchases made with Amazon and select streaming services qualify for 5X points per dollar spent on eligible purchases.
A maximum of 7,500 points can be earned back during the promotion. (That’s $1,500 in spending.) Enrollment is required and takes about five seconds. Just go to ChaseBonus.com. Enter your last name, zip code, and last four digits of your card number.

I’m a big Chase Freedom Flex® fan. I love the 5X quarterly categories feature. If there’s something I don’t like, I don’t use it. The card has a $0 annual fee, so I’m not out any money.
I also like that the card earns 3X on dining and at drugstores.

Both you and I know the winter holidays will be here before we know it. (Halloween is less than 190 days away — and then the madness starts.) We’ll blink and it’ll suddenly be Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa. And Secret Santa. And gifts for coworkers, teachers, neighbors, and everyone else.

There are a couple of good Amazon offers that can help you earn a bunch of travel points. The Amazon Amex Offer is pretty targeted and not everyone will receive it.
