What We Like About It

This is an excellent complement to any Membership Rewards® portfolio. We like that it earns 2X base points (on up to $50k spent during a calendar year) — that’s better than most purchases made on The Business Platinum Card® from American Express. (Then again, the latter is a benefits-packed product.) Plus, the $0 annual fee makes it all the more attractive. (See Rates and Fees.)

What Could Improve

Be aware of the foreign transaction fee: foreign_transaction_fee (See Rates and Fees.).

Regarding small business credit cards in general, you might be better off with something from the Chase Ultimate Rewards® suite of Ink cards. The no-annual-fee Ink Business Cash® Credit Card is a particular favorite of ours: it offers 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at office supply stores and on internet, cable, and phone services each account anniversary year (then 1%). Plus, you earn 2% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account anniversary year (then 1%). All other eligible purchases earn 1%. (Cashback is earned as Ultimate Rewards points, which can be converted to direct deposit, a mailed check, statement credit, or used for other awards such as travel, gift cards, donations, etc.)
