Delta Amex Travel Offer
Targeted American Express card members can earn a one-time statement credit of $100 when spending at least $500 total across one or more eligible purchases of Delta-marketed flights booked through Amex Travel via:
- AmexTravel.com
- the Amex® App
- calling the number on the back of your Card
Purchases must be made by July 31, 2025. But your travel can take place anytime before or after that date.
Terms apply and manual enrollment is required.
The offer is available only to The Platinum Card® from American Express and the Centurion® Card from American Express. (All information about the Centurion Card was collected independently by Eye of the Flyer. It was neither provided nor reviewed by the card issuer.)
Amex Platinum Cards earn 5X total Membership Rewards points on flights booked directly with airlines or with American Express Travel (on up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year). Assuming you haven’t spent a half-million booking flights through Amex Travel this year, you’ll score 5X points per dollar spent.
Plus, you’ll also earn any applicable SkyMiles and Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQD) from Delta after your flights.
The Delta Amex Travel Offer excludes:
- Delta marketed flights booked directly with Delta or through other third-party sites and apps
- All other types of American Express Travel® bookings or purchases not listed as eligible.
- Flight + hotel packages

Can I Buy My Tickets Through Delta? I Don’t Want to Use Amex Travel!
So, this is a thing.
I know because I hear it from some people who get nervous booking Delta tickets from somewhere other than Delta. This prevents them from saving hundreds to thousands of dollars.
This offer is only for Delta Air Lines flights purchased through the Amex Travel service. As stated in the exclusions above, it doesn’t work for flights booked directly through Delta.
Many of us are used to the Fly Delta app and Delta.com. The idea of using something like Amex Travel or Capital One Travel scares some people. Even if it means earning statement credits or bonus points.
I’ve booked countless Delta flights through Amex, Chase, and Capital One. Just include your SkyMiles number in the reservation and everything should be hunky dory. You can manage the reservation (seats, upgrades, etc.) through Delta once it’s booked.
Happy booking, earning, and traveling!
