I used to be very active on an old school Delta micro blogging site, that was founded by Randy Petersen, but the moderation got so bad it is now all but unusable. Thankfully there is a much more fun site I think everyone knows about and that is Reddit and it has it’s own dedicated Delta site and boy can it be interesting to perusal. Today I am highlighting some of the posts that made me chuckle (or gag a bit) today. Take a look:
Late last year I posted one of the most viewed post for 2024 that elite status is no longer worth it with Delta because upgrades are all but gone. Well it seems this Delta Diamond on Reddit is just catching on to this and is really mad.
Have you ever seen cat puke? It is not a lovely thing to behold (let me tell you). This Delta flyer has just posted a photo of a Delta Premium Select bagel, a vegetarian option, and it is just eweee! See if you agree.
I have seen a lot of feet on bulkheads in my days of flying Delta (see photo above) but this one takes the cake. I mean the dude is clearly very tall but putting your feet above and resting on the IFE is a new level if shameful behavior. Yet, some are defending the guy in the thread – SHM!
Then we have one more foot related post where the dude is not just showing off his naked fee but encroaching them into the seat space next to him. I know in 2025 decorum is at a new low level but really? I mean really? Gross!
Lastly for today we have a Delta flyer who was flying Delta One out of Boston and went to the stunning new Delta One lounge for a meal and suggests the crab cake made them sick i.e. food poisoning from the Delta One club. Readers are not so sure but the OP says the head purser on his flight also got sick in the same club. I am not so sure.

another reason I’m becoming that old man who hates people but at least I haven’t started yelling at people to get off my lawn!. I’ve been flying commercial since the early 70s and I miss the days when passengers actually cared about the way they dressed for flights.
@Robert – LOL. That is 100% not me and why I cruise NCL because I can wear shorts to even to all the specialty restaurants for dinner if I want (other than the French one)!
