There has always been a lot of interest focused on just what meal you are going to received in the premium cabins on Delta Air Lines. Delta One a.k.a. Delta business class cabin has, for as long as I can remember, offered an elevated dining experience compared to coach. When Delta first premiered their premium economy product labeled Premium Select the food choices were exactly the same as in the business class cabin – just served on one tray vs. course by course. That did not last long unfortunately and during COVID Premium Select was downgraded to the same meal as the rest of coach.
Currently (as of this posting) Delta is offering an upgraded Premium Select menu but not as elevated as the cabin in front. Delta also allows you to select your meal, in either cabin, starting 7 days before your flight, the cutoff to make a choice is 24 hours before flight. But if you are curious about the meal choices that will be offered farther out, Delta does have a website you can visit to get a basic overall view of what to expect.
After inputting the 3 letter codes for your departing airport as well as arrival airport you next choose the premium cabin you are flying. In my example I picked departing from Atlanta and arriving in Paris, France.
You then choose your arrival time (for international flights) and it will display what you should expect to enjoy on your flight.
The cover not just the meal but also how you will be welcomed onboard, then the meals, as well as the complementary beverage choices.
For the Premium Select menu you can see the options, while better than coach, are not quite as lavish as the business class cabin (nor are the wine choices and so on).
The menu site does work for domestic flights as well but in this case you choose the departure time of your flight. In my example I chose a Minneapolis flight going to Orlando Florida.
Since Delta does not offer two premium cabins on most domestic flights (transcontinental being one such exception) you do not have to choose what cabin you are in as only first class is offered a meal choice.
Overall this site is a good effort by Delta to give customers an idea of what to expect. This site, however, does not include everything that will be offered as Delta at the 7 day window often offers local specialty meals that are not shown on this site. Also, as Delta always warns, there can be other issues that can impact just what will be provided onboard. – René

I am flying in Upper Class on a Delta-marketed but Virgin operated outbound flight and KLM business class on the return. I paid Delta for the flights. Can I pre-order my meals?
@Frankie – Yes. See this link.
Thanks René. How about KLM business class on my return?
@Frankie – Log in using PNR on KLM website: https://news.klm.com/ordering-meals-in-advance-in-klm-world-business-class/
Hope to try the Pea Ravioli today
