Delta Air Lines issued a travel advisory-weather waiver for its Atlanta superhub due to Hurricane Helene’s projected course. The airline also extended a previously announced waiver and added several more destinations to the list of affected cities.
Delta Weather Waiver: Atlanta
Delta passengers scheduled to travel through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) on Friday, September 27, may change their itineraries and any fare difference will be waived — as long as they rebook in their originally ticketed booking class.
Tickets must be rebooked by Tuesday, October 1. Rebooked travel must commence no later than October 1, as well. This is the official announcement on Delta’s website.
