I published a post yesterday about some domestic Delta flights operated by widebody aircraft.
The big takeaway is that passengers can sometimes score nicer seats because bigger planes are slotted in here and there to fly routes often flown on narrowbody aircraft.
So, how can you easily find Delta domestic flights flown on widebodies without?
Delta Cargo
Delta has a cargo division, but there aren’t really any planes dedicated solely to (non-human ) cargo transportation.
You won’t find planes like this:

Delta’s cargo department apparently utilizes the “belly” space inside its aircraft used for transporting passengers. It publishes routes for both widebody and narrowbody planes.
Delta usually updates cargo schedules each month. Here’s the “current” widebody schedule. (Thanks to Marq Goblue and Samuel for showing me where the March schedule is located!)
Some flights operate each day (like the Los Angeles-New York flights). Some are one-offs. But almost all of them are available for passengers to purchase. You just need to know where to look.
And now you do.

The domestic widebody schedule for March has been posted as of Feb 27th.
Would you please point me in the right direction?
Chris,
Google “Delta Cargo Alerts and News” and scroll down to “Delta Cargo’s March Flight Schedule”.
Thanks, Marq! I updated the post.
This is incredbly helpful, thank you!
