It’s been a while since we posted a worthwhile Delta partner mileage run for MQD and MQM. Well, we found something with a projected MQD yield that’s just over three times your airfare investment! It’s a New York-JFK business class roundtrip to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (SDQ) via Mexico City (MEX). This trip is aboard AeroMexico 737s and Embraer 190s — so it’s nothing too fancy. (#SufferForYourStatus?)
It prices out to $1077.35.
ITA Matrix estimates the itinerary will travel 8,018 miles. Because this is an AeroMexico “I” fare, you’ll earn 40% of that distance as MQD when you credit the trip to your Delta SkyMiles number. HERE IS HOW AND WHY THAT HAPPENS.
- $3207 MQD
- 12,054 MQM (8.9 CPMQM. Nothing exciting.)
- 16,072 estimated redeemable SkyMiles (before any applicable Medallion bonuses)
Our sample trip below departs JFK on Saturday, September 9 at 6:19 PM and gets you to SDQ at 6:12 AM on Sunday morning. You depart SDQ at 10:41 AM and end up back at JFK just past midnight.
We found several dates available during the next several months — weekdays and weekends.
Are you worried you’ll screw up the booking and not get your MQD, MQM, and redeemable SkyMiles? Don’t worry! You’re not the only one, I promise you. The Mileage Run department at point.me (formerly Juicy Miles) can take care of booking the trip for you.
These deals have a tendency to disappear not long after we blog them. Why?
- The airline hikes the price ASAP, or
- Readers snatch up the available inventory, or
- Both of the above
