I also received the email from DoorDash and Chase. I thought the extension email was the result of me canceling my DashPass today, stating that it was because of the Chase promo expiration today (For Me). The extension is a nice surprise.
I did not receive an email but a chat with customer service confimed that I had the free dashpass extension until sep 2022
It was still active but I did not have my sapphire on the account. I readded the card to my account and the dashpass was there.

Rajkumar G (2/1/2022, 11:08:15 AM): I believe the email you received is incorrect due to technical glitch from our end. However I can confirm that you have a free trial which is valid through Oct 28, 2022.

Would I be eligible for the extended free Dashpass if I already used my free year of Doordash Dashpass (and recently canceled Doordash so they would not start charging me) but I am still a Chase Reserve holder?

Are people seeing the 2024 expiration dates in their accounts? I just signed up with the preferred card and my expiration date is one year from today.
Just checked mine. No emails and expiration still showing as 1/31/22.
My app also shows 01/22 expiration date. However, I received within the app a pop up that confirms the 2 yr extension. “ No further action needed.” I’ll assume all is good until otherwise.
I received the same thing this AM.

scroll to “complementary dash pass subscription”: I see two popups: to enroll now and for terms and conditions. enroll now takes me to the door dash site and terms/conditions does not indicate extended. Note, I used my free year and canceled account a few days before the original 1/31/22 expiration so I would not be charged.

I’m starting to wonder if the DoorDash app is having some technical glitches. Try removing your Sapphire Reserve card as a DoorDash method of payment, log out, and then add it again. I did that a couple of days ago and received the message this morning that my DashPass is extended through 2024.
I received the pop-up message within the DoorDash app. It appeared when I opened the app. I did not have to do anything to Chase or DoorDash account. I agree with Chris about the possible technical glitch. Hope this helps clarify where the Door Dash extension pop-up message appeared.
Just signed out and in again. No popup message upon opening the app. I’ll check again in a few days and call Chase if still no indication that I have free dash pass until 2024 and will receive the $5 monthly credit. Thank you.

I’m not seeing my extension either. I’ve been enrolled since 2020 and mine expires 1/31/22. I saw the pop-up on door dash for my extension but has not been applied to my account.
