If the Las Vegas to Paris mileage run we posted earlier today doesn’t work for your budget or schedule, you might be interested in this San Jose (SJC) to San Juan (SJU) run.
It’s a Delta trip in Main Cabin. But it yields 11,548 MQM for $437.80. The itinerary flies SJC-SLC-JFK-SJU-ATL-SLC-SJC. You’re in San Juan for less than two-and-a-half hours — so you don’t have much time for a whole lot of sightseeing. (Maybe drink some rum at the airport?)
I like that the SJU-ATL-SLC legs are on A330-200s. So you might snag an upgrade to lie-flats if you’re a Delta Medallion.
