This Delta mileage run isn’t exactly a barnburner– but I’m happy we found something for our hub-captive friends in Minneapolis!
It’s a single-day roundtrip from MSP to Phoenix. And it can be completed during a single Saturday (August 28), though I also saw a couple of weekdays available during late August and early-mid September.
This Main Cabin run prices out at $144.20. Because Delta is awarding 50% MQM, MQS, and MQD bonuses on Main Cabin tickets flown through the rest of 2021, those 2,552 MQM become about 3,828 MQM. And the MQD total will be right around $169. (Maybe there will be a sweet buy-up to First Class, who knows.)
The price is actually cheaper if you book it as an award ticket — just 12,500 SkyMiles plus $5.60. Just make sure to keep Delta on its toes so you receive your elite status earnings.
