A woman with autism claims Six Flags told her to leave because she violated a theme park’s dress code. And the story takes a rather unsettling turn from there.

Plus, break out the hairspray, leather, and makeup: the Monsters of Rock Cruise is coming back!

Those are some of the day’s travel headlines I thought you, too, may find interesting.

Six Flags Gets Short with Woman Wearing Short Shorts

Bailey Breedlove was visiting Six Flags Frontier City theme park in Oklahoma last month. She said in a Facebook post:

[A park police officer] grabbed my shoulder to turn me around and proceeded to tell me my shorts were “too short”. I committed no crime and proceeded to walk to my boyfriend as I am autistic and have a hard time talking to officers. She followed me yelling and calling for backup. Then your incompetent manager showed up and began body shaming me. I was told I needed to go buy new shorts which I am not obligated to purchase anything I don’t want to. Then I was threatened with criminal trespassing when I agreed to buy new shorts so my family could enjoy their vacation. I was then pushed and escorted toward the entrance. Accepting this, we were about to leave and were blocked by your female officer from leaving and she pulled out her cuffs and demanded my ID. When we asked for probable cause their answer was “because they are the police”.

Ms. Breedlove says her “11 year old {sic} daughter (was) crying hysterically thinking her mother was about to be arrested.”

Here’s a TikTok video of the incident.

And here’s where things get even darker: she claims the people stating they are police officers might not be cops.

In her post, Ms. Breedlove said her team spoke with “the Oklahoma police department” {sic} and a captain said the officer in question was not an Oklahoma City Police officer.

It’ll be interesting to see from which jurisdiction that “police officer” hails (Renegade Rapids, perhaps?).

But perhaps Ms. Breedlove did violate the Six Flag dress code.

Facebook commenter Brian Duby points out that the park’s policy states, “Clothing must be hemmed with no frayed edges.” Based on the TikTok video above, it looks as though Ms. Breedlove’s shorts weren’t Six Flags compliant.

Interestingly, Six Flags mandates “No denim/jean shorts or shorts below the knee.”

So maybe they’re OK with short-ish shorts?

Are You Ready to Rock?!

Alice Cooper, Skid Row, L.A. Guns, Winger, Faster Pussycat, and Tom Kiefer of Cinderella are just a few of the acts playing the Monsters of Rock Cruise in February 2022! TravelPulse says cabins start at about $1800 per person. That doesn’t include taxes, fees, high-heeled boots, or Jack Daniel’s.

She doesn’t look ‘autism‘ to me. It’s unfortunate as she was doing nothing wrong.

Would you please provide some detailed feedback why the post was pathetic or how I don’t have any class? I pointed out facts on both sides of the argument (perhaps overzealous cops who weren’t cops; she actually might have violated the dress code).

I’m open to constructive criticism. I look forward to your response. Thanks in advance.

If you can see the skin on the bottom of the butt cheeks, whatever you are wearing is too small. I don’t care who you are. Six flags is for family fun not to expose your kids to people who want to show off their goods.
