If you (or someone you know) don’t want to bother with a wallet full of cards you have to dig through and remember which card earns which bonus, the U.S. Bank Altitude® Go Visa Signature® Card might be a fantastic option. It’s a great, catch-all card for no annual fee.

If links aren’t displaying or working correctly, turning off ad blockers should enable you to see all the content. And you’re supporting Eye of the Flyer. Thank you!

Plus, I know plenty of American Express fans who want a simple Visa card to use when a merchant doesn’t accept Amex. They’re okay with 1.5X. But this card goes well above that for many purchases.

So if one (or both) of those examples fit you, definitely consider the U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card. Why? It offers bonuses on many everyday categories we actually use (imagine that!) such as dining, groceries and grocery delivery (hello, Instacart!), gas stations, and streaming.

So let’s up climb up and check out the 35,000-food view of the U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card

4X on Dining Purchases (Including Food Delivery and Takeout)

The no annual fee U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card‘s awards four points per dollar on dining purchases. That’s on par with the $250/year American Express Gold® Card. (See rates and fees. Terms apply.)

This includes purchases made not only at restaurants but on services such as DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, Seamless, etc.

Useful 2X Categories: Grocery Stores & Delivery, Gas Stations, Streaming

Grocery, gas, and streaming — oh, my! Each category earns two points per dollar spent on purchases.

People who can’t be bothered taking out their Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express or American Express® Gold Card for U.S. supermarket purchases or Citi Costco card at gas stations might find the U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card is a convenient, set-it-and-forget-it card.

Plus, we hear “grocery delivery” encompasses services such as Instacart and Amazon Fresh.

While 2X isn’t huge, it’s obviously better than 1X or even 1.5X.

Sure, this card won’t top our list of best grocery store credit cards. But most of those cards carry annual fees (which can easily be offset). However, the U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card is undoubtedly a respectable no annual fee option.

Gas station purchase-wise, is this the best card? No. The Citi Costco card, the Wells Fargo Propel Amex Card, and PenFed Platinum Rewards cards are a few that instantly come to mind.

Using your credit card at a gas station is a great way to knock out spend!

Same with streaming. Hands-down, the Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express or American is tops at 6% cashback. (Terms apply.)

But consider many of the current elevated streaming offers are temporary (as far as we know). They may drop back down to 1X. The U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card‘s 2X on streaming purchases is something folks should consider when/if that time rolls around.

$200 Cashback Offer

The U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card currently offers a 20,000 point bonus when you spend $1,000 in eligible purchases within three months of being approved.

Cash money

That’s worth $200 in cashback, gift cards, travel, or merchandise.

$15 Streaming Statement Credit

If you pay at least one streaming bill per month for 11 months with your U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card, you’ll receive a $15 statement credit during the 12th month.

Nothing fantastic — only $15 a year — but, again, the card has no annual fee. It’s basically found money — especially if you’re paying your streaming bill with something netting you only 1.5X (or worse).

No Annual Fee

Have I mentioned the U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card has no annual fee? 😉

Final Approach

While it doesn’t offer travel bonuses or benefits (aside from the standard Visa Signature perks), the U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card gives people a great go-to when they can’t use Amex.

Plus, it offers bonuses on categories most of us frequently use — such as dining, groceries and grocery delivery, gas stations, and streaming — all for no annual fee and an easily attainable welcome bonus.
