Delta Air Lines announced today it will reopen seven Sky Clubs throughout July. Plus, the lounges will feature several COVID-19 safety enhancements designed to reduce contact points and increase passenger safety.
The seven airport lounges will complement the 13 currently operating, eventually bringing the total of working clubs to 20.
Delta said the following Sky Clubs would welcome guests sometime this month:
- Chicago O’Hare (E Concourse)
- Denver
- Miami
- Nashville
- Orlando
- Phoenix
- San Francisco
No firm reopen dates have been announced for any of the clubs mentioned above.
Safety Measures
Keep in mind Delta is enforcing a requirement that passengers wear masks.
Don’t expect any grand, hot meals. (Well, as grand and hot as Sky Club food goes). Delta said, “Food buffets have been modified with grab & go style, individually packaged fresh food options like yogurt, fruit, muffins, pastries, salads, hummus and pita chips, and sandwiches.”
Plus, partitions have been installed at check-in counters, bars, and between café tables.
Club capacity is limited. Plus, designated seating areas are reserved for families.
Delta mentions a few others in its announcement, but those are the salient points.

The ORD skyclub is so tiny and has historically had crowding issues. Interesting that it’s one of the first ones to re-open.
Would have been nice to see MKE on the list.
Do we know what the capacity limit is? 25%, 50% of normal? I will be in LGA and ATL in July and just wondering how many folks are being allowed in to the club.
wonder if SFO SC IN TERM 1 WILL OPEN AS FLIGHTS MOVED TO TERMINAL 2 GATES
ATL B-18 is now open (as of 01-July), and the expectation is ATL D-12 will open in the second half of July.
