What an interesting trio of wedding day heroes: Delta, Caesars Las Vegas, and Rod Stewart.
When the Thomas Cook airline and travel company went belly-up, UK couple Andrew Aitchison and Sharon Cook had no way to get to Las Vegas for their wedding. (How’s that for an ironic last name? Thomas Cook threw a wrench in Sharon Cook’s wedding plans?! Maybe Tommy objected to the union, who knows.)
Caesars contacted Delta (do I smell a new hotel partner? 😉 ) and asked if the airline could do anything to help. Delta obliged, even providing a special meet-and-greet staff at Heathrow to help check in the party and their entourage of 14.
The wedding plans have officially commenced and the lovely couple, @AndyAitcho and his fiancée Sharon, have arrived to a royal welcome. Thanks to @Delta for partnering to make their dreams come true. #LikeACaesar pic.twitter.com/f4qEsTrxU4

A surprise wedding singer showed up at the nuptials: Rod Stewart, who has a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
From bad to good, I guess some couples have all the luck?
