I love being inspired to search for runs from readers. With a HT to Matt on twitter for finding the LONGER run and getting me going to search for the slightly cheaper one posted here as well.
But, if you don’t want to fly around for a weekend+, remember the Delta AMEX Reserve card <-LINK, for the $450 fee, and 1st purchase gets you 10,000 MQMs. Clear?
I think the only thing keeping this from being perfect is the fact that you do have to overnight in SJU but even a few hours in the sun can be nice if you need some MQMs.
If you do not live in Denver you would have to position out Thursday and fly home Monday and that does clearly bring the price up quite a bit including two more hotel nights. Do keep that in mind.
Another idea is position down to SJU on the Sunday December 6th and take the run the other way FROM SJU on the 7/8th and fly home on the 9th. That way you get more night in the sun than in DEN. Just an idea!
