I just called Delta’s DOT-COM support in Dallas Texas and got a supervisor to both confirm and note my account that I am eligible for the LGA 2x promo. If it is NOT showing up in your “My Promotions” page you may want to do the same. Also keep in mind, per the convoluted rules, the 1st flight you don’t get 2x MQMs but the 2000/2000 bonus. So, if you do what I showing above, here is what you get:
Flight 1 – 3264+2000=5264MQMs
Flights 2-7 – 6528MQMs
Total for 7 days of flying back and forth = 44,432MQMs
Total cost $1,666 at 3.75CPM. Not all bad plus a boatload of Skymiles on top of that to offset much of that cost. Keep in mind the medallion bonus is not doubled just the base miles. Still a bunch of Skymiles for the 7 days of flying. Also does work either way.
You can do connections but only get 2x for the LGA to wherever segment btw both per the terms and DOT-COM support.
I picked DEN as the start / finish as the AUA route is not really feasible and the BZN seems seasonal to me anyway from the Delta route map from LGA. What do you all think? – Rene

Even though I’m ineligible for the promotion, I must say I’m impressed by the research!
@Corbett – txs. Would love to fly this for a week but just don’t have time. I have to be careful or I could end they year as a triple Diamond not just a double Diamond 😉

Were you eligible for the 2X or did the dot-com supervisor make you eligible?
Thanks
@Leer – I was able to register via the link. Not an override or anything like that.

Need help getting Delta to code my account for the promo. They are saying I didn’t receive the email offer and no go even though Diamond Medallion.
Also, can you post more screen shots of how you are getting 44K mqm.
@Samantha – if you can not register you are not eligible. I have posted screen shots 🙂 see the post. Take the MQMs and then x2!
Ok, confused because you wrote above – “I just called Delta’s DOT-COM support in Dallas Texas and got a supervisor to both confirm and note my account that I am eligible for the LGA 2x promo. If it is NOT showing up in your “My Promotions” page you may want to do the same. “
@Samantah – sorry, but even those who could register – it is no showing up in their accounts thus the need to call to conf. Sorry for confusion.

For those out of MCI, you can route MCI-PIT via LGA for ~3200 miles at the same price of less than above. Double the miles (if they double the 500 min? and if they give points for oeprated/DBA flights) for 6400 mqm. All the extra flights means extra chances to get bumped too!
@Paul – they ONLY 2x the LGA segment flights. Not any others.

I’m impressed and the number of days flown is only limited by available time and money. I would like to know what tool you used for the map as i am unfamiliar with that particular tool. Maybe there’s a way to combine with some red eyes for more back to back travel. Of course I have to check with Delta to find out if I’m eligible. As always thanks for the post.
@Andrew – it is on Delta.com the route map http://www.delta.com/content/www/en_US/traveling-with-us/where-we-fly/routes.html
