I will have a long layover in LAX on 30OCT, i.e. this Wednesday, and will take an UBER trip to the location at about 6:PM. What location? Great question. I will update this post and post it below when we all pick a spot:

At this point this is only in the planning stages and I would like a firm commitment if you can attend due to the fact if we become a big group we need to let the restaurant know. I am in. Rock N Fish Manhattan Beach has amazing food. Will def need a res though.
Would love to come but will be at Pauley Pavilion for the first game of the season. If you meet up on the west side (Westwood, Santa Monica, Brentwood) then I’ll pop by for a few.
Tony P’s in the Marina. Not on the beach but you can see the boats. Not too expensive and a good beer selection.

I’m down to go. I’m not really familiar with the area as I live in the valley but the place seems cool.
Actually will be arriving LAX that night at 5:55 p.m but out to BNA at 7:10 unfortunately – bummer – on my next to last MR of the year en route to DM! Sorry I will miss and thanks always for the good advice Rene.
