A way to fly FREE one-ways on Delta (just takes a lot of time)

e-rewards flying blue

E-Rewards now has a link that will give you 500 Flying Blue points for “new” members, that is a new e-mail, once you complete your first survey from this link (tip if you have issues try another browser to sign up):

e-rewards.com/Enroll

Not just that if you are willing to spend time doing surveys each month, after about 50 of them, some long, some very short, you will save up $100 in e-Rewards bucks.

klm erewards points

That will give you 2000 Flying Blue points. That is not a LOT of points but do keep in mind that with Flying Blue you can fly ONE-WAY tickets on Delta via points. Also there are other ways to score some free KLM points now and then.

one way awards klm on delta

You can see there is reasonable available one-way from South Bend to Atlanta and I would be hard pressed to find space on Delta for most of these.

send membership rewards to klm

Also keep in mind, you can transfer points from American Express® Membership Rewards® points 1:1 to KLM so you could use points gained from:

American Express® Premier Rewards Gold card (3x for airfare)

Now you tie this in with some creative Delta flights and this could be a very reasonable way to fly on Delta. Or, for some mileage runs, it can be a creative way to say get to some start city.

There are also other redemptions that may give you personally better value like FlexPerks points for example, but either way, as I always talk about, you should be collecting points everywhere you can and this could just be one more arrow in your Delta quiver to consider. – René

Will delta offer the upgraded meals on flights between sfo and atl?

@Margit – not yet (if you mean order ahead meals like some SFO/LAX-JFK). I do think we will see it over time if the other one is a success.

I have been in the eRewards game for years. I typically value the domestic RT ticket at $400, or ~1.6 cpm, or about 33 cents/eReward dollar. I find higher value in magazines subscriptions. Between eRewards, random miles about to expire on Froniter and United, and rewardsurvey.com, every friend, neighbor, and relative of mine has more magazines that they can read. Now I have switched to gift cards (Gamestop) to use towards Christmas gifts (xBox for my son). Already earning miles faster than I use. To each their own.

    Also noteworthy:
-Redemption of FlexPoints is limited to one (1) redemption per calendar quarter, per FlexPerks account and/or e-Rewards member account.

So much for using multiple email addresses to speed up the earnings. It will thus take >18 months to earn 24,000 miles this way.

My GameStop gift cards are no longer available. As I am not Choice Privileges member, guess we go back to 4,500 Club Carlson points/75 e-Rewards Dollars. Or 4000 IHG points/100 e-Rewards Dollars – On a points break redemption, you could almost be at 100 cents/e-Rewards dollar!
