If you have been waiting to get a passport, tomorrow could be the day to make time. Most of the time you must get an appointment, but not tomorrow click here to find out more:
“On Saturday, March 10 only, apply for your U.S. passport at a Regional Passport Agency without an appointment. You will be able to apply for standard processing (4-6 weeks) or pay an additional $60 for expedited processing (2-3 weeks, door-to-door). Passport Day in the USA events are being held at Regional Passport Agencies and many Passport Acceptance Facilities across the country in communities like yours. If you’ve been waiting to get your passport, this is the time!” – from Travel.state.gov
You do need a photo and it is good to review the forms needed here and there are the fees to get it found here. The other standard way is to go down to your local Post Office and get it done and the link for what you need is found at their web site here.
Now I know most Delta Points readers already have their own passports but if you do not or need to renew one, now you have something fun to do tomorrow! – René

Thank you for pointing this out.
I -must- go in person because my last passport was misplaced, and so its a huge weight off my schedule to not have to make an appt.
So you helped at least one person with this.
You know you can handle all of the in person aspects of a passport application at the post office and not need an appt?
i did know that yes…but most post offices near me are usually not open on Saturday for passport services.
My travel schedule pretty much only leaves me weekends in my actual residence most weeks…
