Here we are — one of the more controversial days each year: Daylight Saving Time kicks in at 2:00 AM Sunday local time across most of the United States and in a few dozen countries worldwide.
We set our clocks forward one hour at 2:00 AM. (The ole “spring forward” saying.)
If you have travel plans on Sunday, don’t be one of those people who forget about the time change — and show up late to the airport, train station, cruise port, or bus station. (And don’t scream at employees for the plane or ship leaving without you — when you’re the one who forgot to set their clock forward.)

Most of us use smart devices that automatically adjust to Daylight Saving Time, so this shouldn’t be too much of a problem. But remember that most hotel room alarm clocks don’t automatically switch forward an hour. If you’re like me, you have all sorts of clocks at home (microwave, oven, a decorative clock, bedside clock, etc.) that require manual changing, too. (Easier to do that tonight.)
Enjoy your travels and don’t be late!
