A free membership to DashPass — DoorDash’s subscription service — is available to members of two high-profile rewards cards. And the enrollment window was just extended by three years!
DashPass Benefits for Chase Cards
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve® members receive complimentary access to DashPass (a membership for both DoorDash and Caviar). DashPass holders enjoy $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on eligible orders of at least $12.
Plus, they also receive monthly $5 DoorDash credits that roll over to the next month, for a maximum of three months.
The complimentary DoorDash membership is good for at least one year.
The DoorDash-Chase partnership was originally announced in 2020. It was set to expire a couple of years ago, but it was extended through December 2024. Now, cardholders have until December 31, 2027, to activate their benefits!
Not yet a DoorDash member? Receive $5 off your first DoorDash order of $25 or more when you sign up through our referral link (thank you!).
I activated my Chase Sapphire Reserve® card’s DashPass benefit in Summer 2020. Four years later, the complimentary membership is still active! I’m hoping the membership runs through December 2027, though I certainly don’t expect that.
This post explains how to activate your complimentary DassPass membership.
Final Approach
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve® members now have until December 31, 2027, to activate their complimentary DashPass access. The perk was originally set to expire at the end of this year.

Hi Chris
Can you look into this for me? I just received an email from Delta with my reimbursement info from the Crowd Strike disaster. Delta seems to be partnering with JP Morgan in getting these reimbursements sent out . The only means Delta is refunding is through bank accounts . They are asking me for routing and bank acct numbers as well as name on acct. And this info once entered is not encryrpted. I have chatted via messenger with Delta with no helpful response. Have you received any feedback from flyers on this issue?
Hmmm, I haven’t heard anything about it. I’ll poke around. Did you call Delta?
