Travelers looking for a deal might want to consider taking advantage of a new transfer bonus promotion involving Air France and KLM’s Flying Blue loyalty program.
You can transfer Chase points to Flying Blue and receive a 25% bonus. For example, you can transfer 10,000 Ultimate Rewards points to Flying Blue; you’ll end up with 12,500 Flying Blue miles. (Point transfers must be made in increments of 1,000 points.)
The Flying Blue 25% transfer promotion is valid through 11:59 PM ET on April 30, 2024. (Promotional offer terms and conditions apply.)
You can occasionally snag some decent premium cabin deals through Flying Blue. (Remember, they’re a SkyTeam airline and you might be able to redeem Flying Blue miles for award flights on other carriers.)

Do you get MQD and Mile credit when you fly on KLM with Flying Blue reward points? I know if I fly on a Skymiles reward ticket on Delta issued ticket, I get 1MQD per every 100 points redeemed; plus, the miles that I flown will count toward my Million Miler Status.
Not sure where to post this…. but I hope you will pickup this comment and repost on your blog… I tried your email link in the About Us section, but it did not work… I think this is a good MQD mileage run deal on AF because I have been looking to do a mileage run deal in July. Typically, July is a very expensive travel month (because of Summer and schools are out). Anyway, I found this deal on AF and it is available in various dates departing in July and up to Aug 9.
It is on AF, JFK-CDG-HND or NRT on Premium Economy. It is a 4 days trip (save lots in hotel cost). Here is an Example:
Outbound: 7/4/24 – AF 5 depart JFK at 6:30p arrive CDG at 8:05a+1, connecting to AF 246 departing CDG at 12:20p arriving NRT at 9:10a+1 (July 6)
Return: 7/8/24 – AF 245 depart NRT at 11:15a arrive CDG at 7:05p, connecting to AF 12 departing CDG at 8:30p arriving JFK at 10:35p (same day)
*You will get a similar result for going to HND, but the Hotels in the HND area is almost 2 to 3X more expensive than NRT; plus, both the arrival and departure time for NRT (I think) is must better.
The total airfare, which I just bought through Chase Ultimate Reward today is $2,632.80 (or 175,454 Ultimate Reward Points) on Premium Economy Class A ticket. The approx. R/T air mile is 19,300 miles. A “Class A” ticket on AF carries a 25% multiplier for MQD calculation, which gives us a MQD: 4,825. This is a 183% return. 4 of these trips, and combine with some of our usual everyday travel flights will sure give us to Diamond in no time!
