Justin Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, were at the grand opening of the (gorgeous) Fontainebleau Las Vegas casino and resort this past Wednesday night. The actor and *NSYNC member was a surprise performer during the celebration (as was country superstar Keith Urban).
Afterward, Mr. and Mrs. JT retired to their hotel room.
Well, I’m sure they stayed at Fontainebleau! You probably think.

No, no, they apparently did not stay at the Vegas version of the famed Florida vacation hotspot.
Vegas enthusiasts pointed out that the hallway carpet pictured is inside Wynn Las Vegas.
And Wynn’s social media team relished it — at least for a while. In a now-deleted Instagram post, they republished the photo and added the caption, “Where everyone ends up. (with champagne and star emojis) #OnlyAtWynn.”
Daaaaang.
So, is there a particular reason the resort twins down the street trolled their cornflower-colored new neighbor?
“The feud between Fontainebleau and Wynn has been brewing for a while,” TMZ explains. “Wynn had accused Fontainebleau of poaching its employees, so this was payback.”
I appreciate playful ribbing and lighthearted roasts. But is Wynn really that sore about poaching employees (which I’m sure it’s never, ever done before, right?) Like it or not, poaching is a part of business.
So, why didn’t the Timberlakes stay at Fontainebleau?
“We checked with Fontainebleau and although rooms Wednesday night were not available to the public, they were available to the celebs, including Justin, who attended the grand opening,” TMZ wrote.
Maybe Wynn is their go-to place in Vegas. Maybe Wynn paid them to stay there in exchange for a post (although I doubt it because their social teams would’ve probably made sure they had a disclosure somewhere in the post).
But if Fontainebleau paid me $6.1 million for a performance and then ceremoniously roll dice with Tom Brady, Paul Anka, and Cher, I don’t know I’d post something from another property during that particular trip. (Heck, I’d hand over my phone for $6.1 million.) However, it’s not like he posted it immediately upon arrival at Wynn: the picture went up late Thursday afternoon.
No comment yet from Mr. Timberlake — but he’d probably say, “Cry Me a River.”
