I’m not exactly patting myself on the back for finding this Atlanta (ATL) to Kahului, Maui (OGG) Delta mileage run. It’s very soon (this Sunday and returns late Monday) and the cost per MQM isn’t exactly overwhelming — especially for a Main Cabin run (7.1).
But consider that it’s a trip from Delta fortress hub Atlanta and there are only a few weeks left in the 2024 Medallion-earning year. If you live in ATL and really need some MQM, this might make sense — especially if you’re pursuing Million Miler status or want some extra MQM to convert into MQD next year. That takes a bit of the sting out.
The trip earns 10,164 MQM for $721.40. It’s a long trip with plenty of Sky Club appreciation time (assuming you have a membership or eligible Amex card).
You can play around with the dates into early next week and get something similar.
