Points Earnings (terms apply to each):
- 4X Membership Rewards points on the two (2) eligible categories on which your business spends the most each billing cycle, on up to $150,000 in combined purchases from these categories each calendar year (then 1X thereafter). Only the top 2 categories each billing cycle will count towards the $150,000 cap. These are the current eligible categories:
- U.S. restaurants, including takeout and delivery
- Online, television, and radio advertising from U.S. media providers
- Purchases directly from U.S. electronic goods retailers or software and cloud system providers
- U.S. gas stations
- superstores, supermarkets, and warehouse clubs that sell gasoline are not considered gas stations
- Transit purchases
- includes trains, taxi cabs, rideshare services, ferries, tolls, parking, buses, and subways
- U.S. wireless telephone services charges
- 3X on flights and prepaid hotels booked on amextravel.com
- 1X on all other eligible purchases
Statement Credit and Other Card Features
Up to $240 Annual Flexible Business Credits
Cardholders may earn up to $20 in statement credits each month when using the American Express® Business Gold Card for eligible U.S. purchases at FedEx, Grubhub, and office supply stores. This can save members up to $240 each year. Enrollment is required.
Walmart+ Statement Credit
Cardholders may earn up to $12.95 (plus applicable taxes) each month when using the American Express® Business Gold Card to pay for a monthly Walmart+ subscription. (Subject to auto-renewal and enrollment is required.)
