Los Angeles-area flyers (or those who can position to LAX) looking to scoop up a bunch of MQM might want to jump on this Delta mileage run we just found.
This is an LAX-JFK-MIA-JFK-LAX trip you can knock down in about 23 hours of flying. It’s a Main Cabin trip — but the flights between LAX and JFK are aboard 767-300s. So if you’re a Platinum or Diamond Medallion, it might be worth using an upgrade certificate to get yourself to the top of the upgrade list — especially for the overnight trip.
Because Delta is awarding 50% MQM, MQD, and MQS bonuses on Main Cabin trips (including those booked with SkyMiles), this run is projected to earn 10,695 MQM and $354 MQD.
The trip’s cost? A very cool $293.80. That comes out to about 2.8 CPMQM!
Now, here’s the thing. You have to do a little extra work to find it on Delta.com. Instead of searching for it as Round Trip, use the “Multi-City” option. Here’s what to plug in:
Then search for the above flights. I saw only November 16-17 at that price. But play around with dates and you might find something else that works.
