The complimentary one-year Lyft Pink subscription that’s part of my Chase Sapphire Reserve® perks was set to expire tomorrow.
But then I received a notice that I could enjoy three more free months.
So I went for it. Why not? I have a couple of trips coming up when I might take Lyft. But I doubt I’ll extend the Lyft Pink membership past the three complimentary months. I don’t use rideshare (or bikes or scooters) enough to justify the $19.99-month cost. (I’d have to spend an average of about $130 each month to really make it worth my while.) Unless my client-related business travel bookings come back in full force (I’m not holding my breath), the membership doesn’t make sense for me.
I’ve used Lyft exactly twice during the past 18 months. The few other times I utilized rideshare services, I took Uber — thanks to the Uber Cash deposits (enrollment required) I receive with The Platinum Card® from American Express and American Express® Gold Card. (Enrollment is required. Terms apply. Uber Cash deposits are made monthly and expire if not used. To receive this benefit, you must have downloaded the latest version of the Uber App and your eligible American Express® Gold Card and/or Amex Platinum Card must be a method of payment in your Uber account. The Amex Benefit may only be used in the United States.)
Still, though, it’s a generous gesture on the part of Chase and Lyft to give members another free three months of Lyft Pink.
If you have (or apply for) the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, you have until March 2025 to activate the benefit — and enjoy at least one year of Lyft Pink.

I got the pop-up also but I’m worried they would auto bill and forget I’ve used Lyft one time since March of last year though.
You could always dispute the charge, if necessary.
I set a reminder for about 85 days from now to cancel my subscription so it doesn’t get auto-renewed.
That’s a not a chase offer though, that’s just the 3 free trial month given to anyone who subscribes now through Lyft. Sapphire holder or otherwise.
yes my friend got this! tried calling Chase Sapphire Reserve®… one agent said he could help me and now they say they cant and dont know what im talking about.
