I know it’s early Thursday/late Wednesday night — but Juicy Miles‘ SkyTeam and Delta expert Miles Jackson just sent me this hot find for Atlanta hub-captive Rene’s Points readers.
Because Delta is awarding 50% MQM, MQS, and MQD bonuses on Main Cabin tickets — including award redemptions — this Main Cabin run comes out to about 10,954 MQM. Based on the $290.30 price, that’s just 2.7 CPMQM. MQD should be about $327.
That’s very nice — especially for hub-captive Atlanta! (See? This is why we recommend Juicy Miles!)
Go to Delta.com to book it — or ask Miles for help.
Thanks to Juicy Miles for telling us about this run!

Wow! What a great run to wake up to this morning. Thank you!!!
By the way,
People should take notice that the MQD’s shown by Delta (in this example $218) are incorrect. Delta has made the decision to not incorporate an internal calculation to reflect the bonus earnings offered by the 2022 Medallion Status Accelerator program.

Thanks Chris & RenesPoints for sharing one of our (few) publicly shared Mileage Runs.
Looks to work for a multi-day trip, so option to kick around Fairbanks for a few days.
ATL > SLC > FAI / FAI > SLC > ATL also appears to work, nudges MQM’s to 11,320
Red eye out of FAI with no lounge may be the only downside.
Covid MQM rollover has me vying for platinum for the first time, time to work on hanging on to it for 2023.
Just booked for me and 19yo daughter to go hiking for a few days 8/19-23. $284 via SLC on way and SEA on way back (SEA-ATL redeye 767-300 lay flat so will use RUCs for this). 11,230 MQMs and father-daughter memories. Thanks for the great idea!
I ended up combining this with the FAI-SJD run so I’ll be doing ATL-MSP-FAI-SEA-SJD-SEA-FAI-SEA-MSP-ATL in late Sept. Most of the legs are in 1st, so I’m calculating that I’ll end up with something like 21k MQMs and $2k MQD’s. It won’t be pretty, but hopefully it’ll be a fun weekend(ish) away.
Sounds like fun to me! Have a great time!
