Cash management company Aspiration and Swagbucks are running a promotion right now giving new checking account members up to $70 in rewards after depositing just $10.
The bounty is awarded as 7,000 Swagbucks — which can be converted to $70 worth of PayPal deposits or redeemed for gift cards in other denominations.
If you don’t yet have a Swagbucks account, sign up through our referral link (thank you!) and become eligible for a bonus.
Aspiration – Swagbucks Promotion
I signed up earlier today. The process took me all of about 10 minutes.
Go to Swagbucks and search for “Aspiration.”
Click the offer and you’ll be taken here.
Click the “Earn 7000 SB” button and you’re on your way!
You must submit your Social Security Number. But Aspiration says it’ll have no impact on your credit score.
You’ll go through the series of usual questions (address, etc) before linking an existing bank account to Aspiration. They use the Plaid service; so as long you know how to log in to your bank, you’re good to go!
I transferred the minimum $10 — even though Aspiration encouraged me to deposit more.
The Swagbucks should post to accounts within seven days.

Final Approach
This seems like a very quick, easy way to earn $70. Swagbucks is the awards partner for MyGiftCardPlus.com — a site I use to purchase to purchase discount gift cards. So you’ll have plenty more opportunities to pick up a few bucks down the road.

Thanks for posting this. I am just getting into Swagbucks.
Does signing up for Swagbucks increase the amount of junk mail you get?
“Junk” is a subjective term. 🙂
I know some people create separate email accounts for things like Swagbucks, etc.
