Today marks a full year since I assumed the lead role at Rene’s Points.
I started writing a “this is what I learned the past year!” post I originally planned to share today. I still want to share it but opted not to for a couple of reasons:
- I want to hone and focus it a bit more.
- There are some good deals and fun topics I think are more timely, especially before and during the holiday weekend!
But please indulge me for a minute, because this it’s very important you know this:
Thank you for reading and participating in our blog. I truly appreciate it.
Many people have offered constructive advice, encouragement, or great information that’s helped the blog. If you’re one of them, thank you for that help.
We’re going to do some stuff with the blog this year, so stay tuned.
Thank you again.
— Chris

Congratulations
I read this all last year and finally took your advice and went on a mileage run from West Palm Beach to Johannesburg South Africa !!
It was an experience flying four days straight
Keep up the good work
Sean
Thank you!
Happy Anniversary, Chris! Congratulations!
Glad we were here with you to see this all happen!
Cheers to many more July 1st’s, and firsts!
Happy anniversary. Great job so far.
Thank you!
It has been great having you on board!
Thank you!
What happened to Rene?
He’s still here!
@Rich – See: https://eyeoftheflyer.com/aboutus/
That link doesn’t explain what happened to Rene. It seems that Rene sold the blog, so why retain the name Rene’s points? No offense to Rene – I loved it when it was deltapoints.com or something like that and I cared about Delta status. Anyway, I have a domain that I think will make for a catchy points blog domain. Write to me if you’re interested in rebranding and want to know the domain.
Cheers and good luck with the blog.
@D – I posted my last post as the blog owner last year (see this post). As to the trademark and blog that is owned by Chris. More fun stuff on the way I hear btw! 🙂
Thanks, D! We’re good but thank you for the offer.
Happy 1 Year. Can’t wait to see what the next one brings
Thanks, Dot!
Happy 1st anniversary. Keep up the great work!
