Forbes‘ Ted Reednotes the mothership currently operates 140 peak daily departures at Logan (including partner flights) That number will increase to 150 by March 2020.
Jon Chesto of the Boston Globe points out that JetBlue plans to exceed 175 daily departures — this year. And they’ll reach 200 “in the coming years,” says JetBlue’s Director of Route Planning, Andrea Lusso.
Hopefully, the DL vs. B6 competition will mean good fares — and maybe some Elite Mileage Runs!

Delta’s effort to crush Alaska Airlines at SEA seems to have failed. Maybe it will have better luck with Jet Blue in BOS. Or maybe Jet Blue finds it advantageous to merge with… Alaska. We’ll see.

@john: 🙂 What’s the correct term? (I know “non-stop” can also sound like a flight that never ends…which, in some cases, sounds pretty darn fun!)
In this case the correct term is “flights.” Yes, there have been a bunch of flights were I was sorry to hear the double ding.
You could say that there are “non-stop” (direct flight) itineraries, but every flight stops at its destination.
