One of my absolute favorite cash back sites is TopCashback (TCB). I find, after checking others, they most times provide the best cash payouts for whatever it is I am wanting to buy online.
Over the years I have harvested a rather large chunk of cash back as you can see by the above screen shot. I have loved starting at their site for booking my NCL cruises to earn max cash back but sad to say they have cut the payout with Expedia cruises from 12% down to 6%. Either way, I doubt a week goes by that I do not log in to check the cash back for something I am about to buy. But what if you don’t check in now and then?
Delta SkyMiles never expire (well, until you do). American Airlines points do expire unless you have account activity (I fix that with monthly free Sprint points). But TCB has something frustrating – you have to log in at least once every 6 months to prevent your account from going “dormant”.
But what happens then? Is your money just gone? After all, you may book a cruise a year or two in advance and then it can take 1-3 months after the sailing to get the credit to post from Expedia to TCB?! Hope is not lost.
All you have to do is reach out to TCB to have them reset your account and you will be able to log back in under your old user name (you may have to have a password reset done). Then you should be able to see all your cash back waiting to be harvested (#ProTip: VDGC often pays much more than cash).
But is there a workaround to this extra step and not have to manually log in to your account (if you are a non-frequent TCB user)?
