Let me tell ya folks the really good runs, i.e. sub 4CPM (cents per mile for each MQM), are really getting thin. But this one works either in Basic for the cheapest price ie 3.8CPM or at 4.3CPM you can go with an X+ fare class for shot at medallion upgrades on all the legs.
Personally I really like the one FROM Miami as you could fly down Friday night, go to the Centurion MIA Saturday before the run, then take the run. You land Sunday back in MIA in time that you should be able to fly back home Sunday night. Thus this is an all one weekend run.
Here are the cheapest numbers:
Cost: $238 in evil E BASIC class
Cost: $268 in main cabin coach
6250 MQMs at 3.8 CPM E Basic
6250 MQMs at 4.3 CPM X Fare
Need a hotel room in LAX or MIA? Consider supporting the blog via Priceline here
Book direct on Delta.com via the Multi-city page. Be sure to route via DTW for max MQMs.
PS – Don’t forget you can get 40k SkyMiles and 10k MQMs with EITHER Delta Amex Reserve card with the LTO going on!

Definitely do this one from Miami. There is also Cafe Versailles just a short Uber away to consider for a Cuban breakfast/brunch & people watching before you head to the airport to hit the lounges. Last but certainly not least, the less time spent at the LAX T2/3 dumpster fire, the better.
Hi Rene. Your link to sign up for Mileage run email is broken. Are you still emailing about mileage runs? I would love to be on the list. Let me know.
@M – BoardingArea is trying to fix yes!
