You know it is crazy just how fast time goes by. I mean Q1 is done – in the books at midnight tonight. For me this means that I am gearing up for summer flying I have already booked and even planning for mileage runs to start 2018. Why? Well it is first off cheaper to book way out and you have many more chances for schedule changes to make them even better (are we learning yet)? The saddest part of the steady march toward 2018 is the fact that we are now only a few months away from Delta parking all the 747s out in the Arizona dessert. I do not plan to be on the last flight that is, at this point, DTW-ICN-DTW 15-16DEC17. I will always cherish crossing million miler on a Delta 747 on the upper deck and want that to be my lasting memory of the Queen of the Skies in Delta paint! – René
