Folks Matrix is driving me just nuts today. I am getting strange results and number higher and lower than what is findable (a word, maybe not) on Kayak.com. Anyway, to find a hub run, on a weekend no less, from Atlanta in 1st class under 6CPM is impressive to me. Now yes you have to overnight but use some cheap hotel point and check out the new IAH Centurion that I have yet to visit. It seems nice!
So tinker around with the Kayak links and see what you can find that works for you. If you don’t mind weekday coach travel, sub 4CPM is a flat out bargan!
Anyway, here are the numbers I found:
Cost: $475 on weekend (less on weekdays)
8,354 MQMs at 5.7CPM
Bookable on Delta.com via Kayak.com
In First class Weekend <-LINK
In First class weekday <-LINK
In Coach weekday<-LINK
I have included the Google Flights or Kayak links and for those of you new to this, 1st log in to your Delta.com SkyMiles account and THEN you click the above links and it will, after you choose flights, send them over to Delta.com. Very simple! – René

Rene – Being a diamond am I able to get upgraded into First with the fair for Coach?
@Ken – Sure (just avoid E BASIC fares). This is a medallion upgrade route. Now if you get the upgrade is another story! 😉
